Sunset Beach Vacation Home
Sunset Beach is
the most northern portion of Huntington
Beach and is a wonderful one-mile long
“small town”, with year around events, it is
close to many Southern California
attractions - but nestled away on a
beautiful un-crowded white sandy beach. Its
name gives away our secret of breath taking
sunsets and views of Catalina Island from
this dream home. Each home is
approximately 6 miles from the Huntington
Beach pier and just over 1 mile from the
Seal Beach pier.
Typical local
entertainment includes romantic beach walks,
swimming, surfing, surf-fishing, bicycle
riding, sunbathing, reading, relaxing, great
restaurants, and just about any other fun
activity that one can dream up.

Sunset Beach
For Your California Vacation
Sunset Beach is a beautiful, cozy
beachfront community. It is
located just northwest of Huntington
Beach (Surf City) in Orange County,
California. The two best features of
Sunset beach is the fact that it is one
of the widest beaches in southern
California and the Green Belt that runs
parallel to the beach from the northern
edge of town to the southern edge of
town. The Sunset Beach Green belt
is great for walking, exercising or just
sitting and enjoying the amazing ocean
view. Since the beach is so wide and
there are no beach vendors or buildings
the sunset looks amazing. Sunset
Beach is truly one of California’s gems.

California Beaches to Visit
CAPISTRANO BEACH PARK: is wide and sandy -- and great for swimming. Because it's less well known than others in the area, it tends not to be as crowded. Perfect for a romantic date or a day out with the family. This beach is a hidden gem and one of the best California beaches to visit.
CORONA DEL MAR: This wide, deep beach offers a lot of room, which attracts large crowds. A jetty keeps the waves mild to moderate (boogie boards can be rented). Volleyball nets, fire pits and a grassy picnic area make for a great all-day beach.
DANA POINT: Dana Point Harbor houses 2,500 yachts within its two marinas, inside a one-and-a-half mile jetty. Complete harbor facilities include guest slips, a fuel dock, shipyard, launch ramp, boat rentals, yacht sales, community class instruction for all ages, fishing, windsurfing, jet-skiing, kayaking, boat charters, two yacht clubs, sailing association, ocean classroom labs, shops, restaurants, picnicking and a baby beach for young swimmers.
HUNTINGTON BEACH: With a nick-name like "Surf City" you already know what's in store. Lot's of surfing. You'll find Huntington Beach as one of the greatest California beaches to visit because of everything it has to offer. Shops, 5 star restaurants, discos, bike tours, surfing, local street parades, farmers market, etc. You do not want to miss visiting Huntington Beach on your California vacation.
IMPERIAL BEACH: Nestled between the Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge to the south and restricted U. S. Navy property on the Silver Strand to the north, Imperial Beach maintains a small coastal-town ambiance generally reserved for Central and Northern California beach communities. Imperial Beach features some of the newest, best maintained public facilities found anywhere in the county.
LAGUNA BEACH: Parking difficulties aside, this may be OC's premier beach, if the blend of locals and tourists from around the world is any indication. It's quaint and picturesque, yet has plenty of attractions: basketball courts, volleyball courts, a nearby concentration of shopping downtown, and decent waves.
LA JOLLA has the best sheltered cove for snorkeling, although all the marine are protected and you can not take anything out of the sea with you. This beach community offers a wide variety of beaches, recreation, shopping and nightlife.
MANHATTAN BEACH: home of Los Angeles athletes such as Shaquille O'Neil, Mike Piazza, Eric Karros and Mike Dodd (volleyball). The beach scene resembles an episode of Baywatch. It's mostly a mid-20's age crowd at the bars and night clubs.
Manhattan Strand ~ Next to Hermosa Beach
A hot spot for surfing, body surfing, or boogie boarding. This long sandy beach is where rock'n'roll's famous Beach Boys found the inspiration for their surf music.
MARINA DEL REY: one of the best California beaches for children. The beach has a sheltered cove so there is no big waves for mothers to worry about the kids in the water.
NEWPORT BEACH: The waves break closer to the shore. The waves can get big and powerful. There is no surfing aloud at this harbor so it is a haven for expert bodysurfing. Newport Beach is one of the best California beaches to visit because it is well known for Trendsetters, check out the fashion the stores here. You can also take boat tours and bike tours. During winter, there are whale-watching tours and for children, there's an old-fashioned Fun Zone with rides. Don't forget to step out to see Historic Balboa Pavilion, a nearby state park, and visit Fashion Island for shopping.
SALT CREEK BEACH: extends for more than a mile below coastal bluffs. This is a particularly gorgeous beach with broad expanses of sand.
SAN CLEMENTE STATE BEACH: is popular with surfers on the north end of the one-mile beach. Other popular activities are skin diving and hiking along the trails on the bluffs.
SANTA MONICA: Santa Monica State Beach is one of the widest and most popular California beaches to visit with everything from an amusement park on the pier to volleyball.
SEAL BEACH: boasts the second longest wooden pier in California. "Stingray Bay" is a great place to visit and watch local marine life up close. This is a very clean and family friendly beach and one of the best California beaches to visit.
SUNSET BEACH: is one of the widest beaches in southern California. This makes it a great place to watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean's horizon. This is a great family beach with plenty of sand and grass for picnics and relaxation. Sunset beach is a local favorite and a very relaxed California beach to visit.
VENICE BEACH: one of the most popular of the California beaches to visit. You'll be entertained by just walking up and down the beachfront walk. Beach front or "street" performers and flea market type bargain shops rule this artsy community. Home of the famous outdoor Venice Beach Gym.
ZUMA BEACH ~ Malibu ~ A beach town that has a marina for boats and yachts. There are fine dining restaurants on the waterfront that include The Cheesecake Factory, El Torito's and Charlie Brown's.
